Centrally located between Lawrence and Ewing, the Boys & Girls Club begins its third year of offering programs for Mercer County area youth ages 3 to 18.

The 35,000-square-foot facility, located next to Halo Farms and Trenton Farmers Market, features a gymnasium; teen and technology centers; an arcade; a professional teaching kitchen and cafe; karate, dance and art studios; career and STEM centers; and numerous adaptable classrooms.

The afterschool program at the Club includes free transportation from Ewing and Lawrence elementary schools, nutritious snacks, homework help, and a wide variety of enrichment programs such as STEM, art, cooking, sports and more. It operates until 6:30 each evening.

A full-day and half-day preschool is also bustling with children from age 3 to 5, and is open from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The teen program offers high school students a fun and safe place to be from 3 to 8 p.m. each day. College and career exploration/preparation is offered, including SAT prep, college essay writing, affording college, and more. This year the club is launching three year-long Teen Career Academies, including STEM, IT Tech, and future CPA pathways, which bring together local business and higher education teaching partners to deliver learning and hands-on experience to high schoolers.

The Club also offers a wide variety of enrichment programs for youth and teens, including NFL Flag Football, basketball leagues and clinics, dance, tumbling, STEM, cooking, and mentorships.
